The specific scope of the condition for death is not known to the gods of death, either. So, you must examine and find out.
죽음의 상황에서 가능한 행동의 상세한 범위는 사신도 모르기 때문에,
스스로 검증하여 밝혀나가는 수밖에 없다.

The instrument to write with can be anything, (e.g. cosmetics, blood, etc) as long as it can write directly onto the note and remains as legible letters.
글자로 남길 경우 노트에 직접 기입할 수 있는 필기구라면 뭐든 관계없다.
화장품이나 피도 된다.

One page taken from the DEATH NOTE, or even a fragment of the page, contains the full effects of the note.
데스노트에서 잘라낸 1페이지나 그 조각이라도 전부,
데스노트의 특성이 유효하다.

Even the original owners of the DEATH NOTE, god of death, do not know much about the note.
원래 주인인 사신도 데스노트에 대해서 상당수 모르는 것이 있다.

You may also write the cause and/or details of death prior to filling in the name of the individual. Be sure to insert the name in front of the written cause of death. You have about 19 days
(according to the human calendar ) in order to fill in a name.
사인과 죽음의 상황을 먼저 쓰고 나중에 이름을 기입해도 된다.
그럴 시에 유효기간은 인간계 단위로 약 19일간이다.

Even if you do not actually possess the DEATH NOTE, the effect will be the same if you can recognize the person and his/her name to place in the blank.
데스노트의 소유자 외에도 얼굴과 이름을 인식하고서
이름을 기입하는 경우, 똑같은 효과를 발휘한다.

If you lose the DEATH NOTE or have it stolen, you will lose its ownership unless you retrieve it within 490 days.
데스노트를 분실 및 도난당했을 경우 490일 이내에 되찾지 못하면 소유권을 잃는다.
25.
The DEATH NOTE will be rendered useless if the victim's name is misspelled four times.
동일 인물의 얼굴을 떠올리면서 4번 이름을 틀리게 적었을 경우,
그 인간에게는 데스노트가 듣지 않는다.

"Suicide" is a valid cause of death. Basically all humans are thought to possess the possibility to commit suicide. It is, therefore, not something "unbelievable to think of".
사인은 보통 「자살」도 유효한데,
자살은 대부분 인간에게 가능성 있는 것으로 간주되며
「예상치 못한 일」에는 포함되지 않는다.
27.
Whether the cause of the individual's death is either a suicide or accident, If the death leads to the death of more than the intended, the person will simply die of a heart attack. This is to ensure that other lives are not influenced.
자살이든 사고사든 이름을 적힌 자 이외의 인간을 직접 죽음에 이르게 할 수 없다.
만일 그렇게 했을 시에는 이름을 적힌 자가
제삼자의 죽음에 영향을 주지 않는 선에서 심장마비가 된다.

Even after the individual's name, the time of death, and death condition of the DEATH NOTE were filled out, the time and condition of death can be altered as many times as you want, as long as it is changed within 6 minutes and 40 seconds from the time it was filled in. But, of course, this is only possible before the victim dies.
이름, 사망 시각, 죽음의 상황을 데스노트에 적은 이후라도
6분 40초 이내라면 죽음의 상황을 몇 번이고 변경할 수 있다.
그러나 물론 6분 40초 이내여도 변경은 사망 전에만 가능하다.
29.
Whenever you want to change anything written on the DEATH NOTE within 6 minutes and 40 secones after you wrote, you must first rule out the characters you want to erase with two straight lines.
데스노트에 적은 내용을 6분 40초 이내에 변경할 경우,
우선 고칠 부분의 글자 중앙에 두 선을 긋는다.
30.
As you see above, the time and condition of death can be changed, but once the victim's name has been written the individual's death can never be avoided.
시간과 죽음의 상황은 변경이 가능하지만, 이름이 적힌 인간의 죽음은
어떤 수단으로든 취소할 수 없다.

The DEATH NOTE will not affect those under 780 days old.
생후 780일 미만의 인간에게는 데스노트의 효력이 없다.

If you traded the eye power of a god of death, you will lose eye power as well as the memory of the DEATH NOTE, once you lose its ownership. At the sametime, the remaining half of your life will not be restored.
사신의 눈을 거래한 자는 소유권을 잃게 되면 노트의 기억과 함께 눈의 능력도 잃는다.
그럴 시에 반으로 줄어든 수명은 원래대로 돌아오지 않는다.
33.
You may lend the DEATH NOTE to another person while maintaining its ownership. Subletting it to yet another person is possible, too.
소유권은 유지한 채 타인에게 데스노트를 빌려주는 것은 가능하다.
빌린 사람이 다시 다른 이에게 빌려 줄 수도 있다.
34.
When the same name is written on more than two DEATH NOTEs, the Note which was first filled in will take effect, regardless of the time of death.
2권 이상의 데스노트에 동일인의 이름이 적힐 경우
기입된 사망 시각과는 관계없이 먼저 적은 것을 우선한다.
35.
When the owner of the DEATH NOTE dies while the Note is being lent, its ownership will be transferred to the person who is holding it at that time.
데스노트를 빌려간 중에 소유자가 죽었을 경우
소유권은 그 시점에 들고 있는 자에게로 옮겨간다.
36.
If the DEATH NOTE is stolen and the owner is killed by the thief, its ownership will automatically be transferred to the thief.
데스노트를 훔치고 그 훔친 사람이 소유자를 죽이면
소유권은 자동적으로 훔친 사람에게 이동한다.
37.
The borrower of the DEATH NOTE will not be followed by a god of death. The god of death always remains with the owner of the DEATH NOTE. Also, the borrower cannot trade the eyesight of the god of death.
데스노트를 빌린 사람에게는 사신이 붙어 다니지 않는다.
사신은 소유자에게만 붙어다닌다. 또, 빌린 자일 경우 사신의 눈은 거래할 수 없다.
38.
If writing the same name on more than two DEATH NOTEs is completed within a 0.06-second difference, it is regarded as simultaneous, the DEATH NOTE will not take effect and the individual written will not die.
두 권 이상의 데스노트에 기입을 끝냈는데 시간의 차이가 0.06초 이내일 경우에는
동시에 한 것으로 간주되어 노트에 적힌 것은 무효가 되며 이름을 적힌 사람은 죽지 않는다.
